Forthcoming Clinical Guide

A clinical guide to the Conference Room model for treating Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Inside the Conference Room is a forthcoming book for clinicians treating Dissociative Identity Disorder and other complex dissociative presentations. It offers a structured, internal-conference-room approach to phase-oriented treatment, integrating EMDR, parts work, somatic and relational methods, and the slow, deliberate work of building safety inside a system before deeper work begins.

“I think every therapist on earth could benefit from this book.”

— Robin Shapiro, LICSW, author of EMDR Solutions

About the book

Drawn from more than a decade of clinical work with people living with DID and OSDD, the book lays out a comprehensive framework for clinicians at every level.

It moves through assessment and structural understanding, the building of an internal Conference Room, the slow work of meeting parts, the role of attachment within a dissociative system, work with persecutor and protector parts, and the long arc toward functional integration.

The book is organized around six through-line cases that illustrate how the model unfolds across years of treatment.

It is written for psychotherapists, EMDR clinicians, and advanced graduate students who want a clinical framework that takes dissociation seriously and treats parts as people with histories, not symptoms to be managed.
